Medical
intuition is the ability to see beyond the normal levels of perception
into the subtle levels below as it pertains to the physical body and
its processes.
My medical intuitive ability does not revolve around the emotional or
spiritual levels. I focus on the physical. My eyes are wide open, I’m
fully aware, and the practical suggestions drop into my mind. What does
this body want? is the question that I ask myself.

Panic, Fear
and Rectal Bleeding
Dear
Caroline,
This
article describes a 56 year old woman recently suffered from a
financial setback. Her ex-husband who supported her and two children is
now out of work. Suddenly she is thrust into the unknown and a state of
panic. Over the years she has suffered from constipation and now
because of the stress she is experiencing bouts of rectal bleeding.
These are my
strategies:
Rectal bleeding is a serious thing. Do not hesitate – go and see your
medical doctor for a consultation and probably a colonoscopy
immediately! Colon problems or colorectal cancer can be detected and
treated. Be proactive.
On the emotional level, the colon represents the elimination process –
letting go of the past, old ideas or outmoded beliefs and the blood
represents the chi or the life force; the amount of energy you have
invested in yourself or others. Her belief that her husband is the only
source of income is the issue a hand. On a practical level this could
be the truth but on a higher level, there are other options which are
yet to be seen - scary but exciting! This current experience is an
important opportunity for growth and a “way in” to developing trust.
The well-known adage “What is in the way – is the way,” can help you to
see that your bleeding rectum and energy leakage toward the past, and
fear of the future provide the catalyst to move in a new direction.
One way to help to get healing energy back into the body is to work on
forgiveness – forgiveness toward her ex-husband and herself and the
choices they have both made. After all, on a higher level, “we set it
up this way.”
Forgiveness is not an easy task but the rewards are numerous; more
energy in your own body, deeper and lighter meditations and the “space”
for change to take place.
On the physical level, let’s look at some of the factors which can be
useful to keep the bowels moving and the energy flowing.
Increase green leafy vegetable intake. A good-sized salad at lunch and
dinner can work wonders. I like to make a “fully loaded” salad with all
sorts of greens, seeds, shredded cabbage and fibrous vegetables. Add
oil – olive, flax or other vegetable oils can be useful. Try 2
tablespoons a day – either “straight up” or poured on your salads. Oil
coats the intestinal tract so the stool “slips” through more easily.
Add more whole grains into the diet – try some unusual grains like
quinoa, millet, amaranth as well as whole rye or brown rice. Make sure
your water intake is high – 8 – 12 glasses per day.
You are in the process of developing faith. Repeat the comforting
affirmation “I have faith in my future.” Now, start to build a future
that is centered on your own gifts and talents. Find a good counselor
or strategist who can help you identify your skills and steer you in a
new direction. Everyone has something to offer. This may involve school
or additional training. You may be eligible for state subsidized
education. Keep open to all opportunities. The universe really wants to
deliver good to us - we just need to believe it.
Caroline Sutherland has been a medical intuitive for 25 years. Her
popular book, “The Body Knows” – how to tune in to your body and
improve your health (Hay House) shows us how to implement the intuitive
process for ourselves.

"Sharon's affirmations will undoubtedly help anyone on their spiritual journey." — Deepak Chopra
Forgiveness
It's
been said that sending others bad thoughts and then expecting to not
feel badly yourself, is like drinking poison and expecting the other
person to die from it. Forgiveness is primarily FOR YOU.
How do YOU want to feel in life? If you think it's worth the
payoff to feel awful towards someone or something in life, then go for
it. Me? I'd rather forgive others (and myself) and feel
joy. Do a few affirmations, and see if you start feeling more
joyful too!
I forgive the actions of those I feel have wounded me I forgive myself for all I feel I've done I forgive what I've done to the life I've been given I feel and accept forgiveness from the world Forgiving others makes me feel good Forgiving myself feels good and right It's okay to forgive myself It's okay to be guilt-free I deserve total forgiveness I forgive myself completely I am forgiven I forgive humanity I forgive myself for anything I've done badly to my kids I'm sorry for anything bad I've ever done I choose to forgive myself I forgive and release my childhood and its memories I forgive myself for any times I've acted unloving I am ready to forgive myself today I am ready to forgive my children today Forgiveness is a virtue I possess in great abundance Forgiveness is its own reward Everyone forgives me this day I forgive myself for buying into another's attitude I forgive myself for letting others push my buttons Forgiveness is a part of my nature I let go of the past and correct the present Choosing to forgive begins the process of healing I accept the forgiveness of others.
The above affirmations are taken from Sharon Elaine's, The Book of Affirmations
